Dr. Darshan S L is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with an M.S. in Orthopedics from Ballari Medical College and Research Centre (formerly VIMS, Ballari) and an MBBS from JSS Medical College, Mysuru. During his postgraduate training, he gained exposure to a range of orthopaedic specialties, including trauma care and emergency orthopaedics. He evaluated and managed orthopaedic patients under the guidance and approval of senior consultants, including physical examinations, imaging reviews, and treatment planning, along with post-operative follow-up. He was actively involved in managing CTEV (clubfoot) patients and the Ponseti method of casting through CTEV clinics at his medical college. He also gained exposure to arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and spinal surgical procedures by assisting in these procedures during his training. Dr. Darshan has an ongoing interest in developing his surgical skills further in arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and complex trauma care.
